Joe Correia is the owner of Maine Fire & Security, LLC, specializing in residential and commercial security, fire, environmental alarm systems, as well as remote access technologies. He has more than 30 years’ experience working in installation and servicing of fire alarm systems, security systems, and special hazard protection. He studied computer electronic, and began his career installing and inspecting special hazard fire equipment and clean agent systems for high-security and high-tech environments. He has designed and installed fire and security systems for numerous businesses throughout Maine, and worked for 15 years doing specialty installations in large corporate firms in Boston.
In 2014, Joe opened Maine Fire & Security. He saw a need in the local market for a company that offered a personal approach and customized systems for homeowners and businesses. While he is still very much a hands-on owner, he has been able to expand his team to other experienced professionals, and is excited that this includes his son, Shayne, who is one of Maine Fire & Security’s lead technicians.
Joe is very dedicated to his business, and admits being a “workaholic”. When his wife Michelle can tear him away, they enjoy outdoor activities on lakes in Maine, camping and hiking, and spending time with their four adult children.

Kevin has over 11 years of experience in the commercial fire and security alarm industry. He has serviced both small businesses and homeowners, as well as large corporate enterprises with multiple locations. His areas of experience include fire alarm systems, electronic security, integrated access control, and IP video surveillance systems. He specializes in helping our customers select which system and products are right for their needs as our sales and design expert. He believes in providing superior customer service in order to build long-term, mutually beneficial client relationships. A Maine native, Kevin resides in Scarborough and is the very proud father of two amazing boys that are about to conquer the world in their own way.
John has over 25 years of experience in both residential and commercial low voltage systems installation and service. He has worked in multiple states and has served many vertical markets. He holds a NICET IV certification in Fire Alarm Systems and is licensed in multiple states. John and his wife are foster parents for special needs children, and live in Old Orchard Beach with his family.
